Talmud (and Lunch!) on the Table Every Tuesday With Rabbi Schwarzman
The Talmud is the central text of Judaism as we know it. Yes, the Talmud contains discussions of Jewish law. But it also contains an amazing collection of stories that illustrate how Jews lived 2,000 years ago – and how we can live our lives today.
Come join us for a kosher lunch on Tuesdays at 12:30pm.
We’ll eat while we read and discuss stories from the Talmud, in English.
If you’re hungry for Jewish learning in bite-sized pieces, clear your calendar and join us for Talmud (and Lunch!) on the Table!
Classes start Tuesday, May 9th in the Lobby located between the Stein Hall and the Sanctuary
A $10 cover charge is requested for lunch.
RSVP by calling the Beth-El office at 514-738-4766 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
