Dear Member and Friends of Beth-El,
As I write this message, we can only hope that the “Arctic Vortex” will be leaving us soon. The days are getting longer and before we know it, spring will be here, along with Purim and Passover.
At Beth-El, we are in the process of searching for a permanent Rabbi. As part of that process, we will be reaching out to you, our members, to get a better idea of what you are looking for in a Rabbi.
In the meantime, we have been fortunate to collaborate with several guest Rabbis who have helped officiate at lifecycle events. Most importantly, Reverend Gershon Katz and Cantor David Guber have been working extremely hard to ensure that our religious services continue to reflect the highest standards of professionalism, spirituality and, simply put, excellence. As one guest at a recent Bar Mitzvah mentioned at the conclusion of Shabbat morning services: “What a wonderfully vibrant and musically inspiring experience!”
Yes, we need your financial help as we launch our Beth-El Torah Rededication Appeal, and we thank you in advance for your support of this major fundraising initiative. But we just as much want you to join us at shul, whether at our upcoming Purim party, to help form a Minyan, at a lecture series, or at Shabbat services. We have something very special going on at Beth-El, and we want all of our members to enjoy it.
Your Executive and Board remain committed to ensuring that Beth-El remains a vibrant and exciting focal point of your Jewish lives.
Thank you for your continued support of Beth-El.
