Congregation Beth-El is proud of its team of volunteers, a group of hard-working individuals who dedicate their time and energy towards the betterment of our synagogue, and towards helping the community in many different ways. There are a number of volunteer opportunities for any age group, and we welcome your interest with enthusiasm!
Student Volunteer Hours
Whether motivated by personal interest or school requirements, our student volunteers build up a bank of volunteer hours by helping our staff or our volunteers with office administrative tasks, organizing activities for children at synagogue events, making presentations, etc. If you are a student looking to help out as a volunteer at Beth-El, please contact our office at 514-738-4766 or email@example.com.

The Religious Committee is a permanent committee of the Synagogue.
Its principal duties and responsibilities are to review practices, provide guidance and act as a liaison between the membership at large and the clergy in regard to all matters of religious concern.
If you have any comments to share with our Religious Committee, or have interest in joining the committee as a volunteer, please contact our office at 514-738-4766 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

The Sisterhood is a women’s group organized as an integral part of Congregation Beth-El. Each year, the Sisterhood chooses a deserving female member of our community to honour and celebrate as part of the annual Torah Fund Luncheon. The proceeds of the Torah Fund Luncheon are donated to the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
If you are a volunteer looking to help out with the Sisterhood at Beth-El, please contact our office at 514-738-4766 or email@example.com.
There are many events that take place at Congregation Beth-El. Each event requires a degree of coordination, communication and planning that is typically assigned to an event committee, which in turn, typically names an event chairperson. The time commitment for this type of volunteer activity can range from weeks to months, depending on the scale of the given event. If you would like to help with our programs, and/or you have an idea for an event at Beth-El, please contact our office at 514-738-4766 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have listed but a few of the ways you can help the community and our synagogue as a volunteer, and we truly appreciate your interest. There are several other initiatives taking place at Congregation Beth-El at any given time, any and all of which could certainly use a helping hand. If you are a volunteer looking for ways to help out at Beth-El, please contact our office at 514-738-4766 or email@example.com.
